Ben got his start in the financial industry in 2006 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business with focuses on Finance, Economics and Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Prior to joining Regatta Capital Group, Ben worked at Griffin Capital in Los Angeles where he was a Senior Vice President. Through this role he gained an in depth understanding of core institutional real estate funds, including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, specialty and hospitality. In addition to these private and public REITs that are designed to primarily generate income, Ben worked on private placements of real estate development funds designed for growth, and tax efficient strategies like 1031 exchanges and Qualified Opportunity Zones. Before moving to Los Angeles and joining Griffin Capital in 2015 Ben spent 10 years in Phoenix, AZ where he had similar roles with Cole Real Estate Investments and, the inventor of the mutual fund, MFS.
In his current role Ben is a financial advisor focused on gaining a deep understanding of his clients short- and long-term financial needs. To help them achieve their goals, he constructs and presents detailed financial strategies that he and his clients then work together to implement.
Ben spends his free time in the South Bay where he lives with his wife, Domina, and two young daughters, Evania and Persephone. He and his family travel when they can, often visiting their extended families in Ohio and Utah. As a die-hard Ohio football fan Ben can be found watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals on weekends in the fall.
