Russell Mohberg and Spencer Kelly met in 2003 while working at Edward Jones and founded Regatta Capital Group in 2007. They set out to build a company that put the client above all else. The independent, boutique wealth management firm has been built on the values of delivering extraordinary client service and exceptional investment results.

As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) we have a fiduciary responsibility to act in our client’s best interest. Unlike the traditional ‘Wall Street’ brokerage firms, our fiduciary status means we’re legally bound to put our client’s interests ahead of our own. Our clients are tired of being a number and are instead looking for a family office feeling they can trust. The firm’s relationship with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services, combines the best of what small and big firms have to offer; Regatta provides the service and expert advice while Fidelity provides the platform and SIPC account protection.
We are 100% independent – hired to sit next to our clients and help you navigate your financial future. There are no investments to pitch, no behind-the-scene fees. We take great pride in the fact that so many clients rave about our expertise, accessibility, technology offerings and client education. Even in the RIA space, there is not enough true independence. Most advisors still wear two hats – that of an advisor and still that of a broker – ready to use either whenever they see a “fit”. We, quite literally, cannot sell anything nor generate any commissions. We are a rare breed, and very proud of it. We are here to serve our clients and no one else.
