Grace joined Regatta Capital Group as a summer intern in 2010 and now serves as Director of Research, Systems & Risk. She is responsible for leading the firm’s investment research, portfolio analytics, risk management, and investment technology initiatives. As a member of the Investment Committee, Grace plays an active role in investment research, manager due diligence, asset allocation, trading, and portfolio oversight. She also leads the firm’s Salesforce and investment systems strategy, helping improve operational efficiency, data quality, compliance, and advisor workflows through technology and automation.
Originally trained as an engineer, Grace discovered her passion for investing and has built a career at the intersection of investment research, quantitative analysis, and technology. She is a member of the CFALA and has volunteered as a mentor for high school students participating in the CCEE Financial Advisor Competition.
Grace earned her M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in Control Engineering from the South China University of Technology. She holds the CFA, CAIA, FRM, and CIPM designations.
Grace lives in El Segundo with her daughter, Sophia, and her mother. Outside of work, she enjoys reading about investing, technology, and systems thinking, as well as hiking and traveling.
